Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why did I get a letter from you
A. We get information from the county regarding local homes that may be a risk of tax sale. We speak to many folks unaware of this process or the steps to avoid losing everything at tax sales.
Q. What do you guys do? What help do you provide?
A. We’ll go over some quick questions from here; we submit them to our team, who will call you back within 24-48 hours with some potential options and to go over them with you. We can usually assist with one of three options. A tax voucher, tax loan, or full cash offer. We also understand the rules of the county and can direct you to the right people at the county.
Q. Do you guys pay off my past-due taxes?
A. We don’t have an unlimited amount of funds. Our team tracks each request that comes in and issues funds or assistance on both a first-come/first-service basis as well as from whats still available.
Q. How can I reach you?
A. If you do need to reach back out you can give us a call or text back at (413) 296-2963 back, send us a message to hampdentaxcare@gmail.com or visit online at www.hampdentaxcare.com
Q. Who are you guys?
A. We are a local organization here in Massachusetts. We work with people in the community who work with homeowners buying, selling, and repairing homes. We exist to provide resources and help better the community against unfair tax laws that allow others to simply wait their turn to take your home.
Q. What is your role?
A. I am a tax assistant specialist, my specific role is to connect with those who are looking for options or assistance besides tax sale. I go through a very important set of questions and alert the team to create solutions. It takes 24-48 hours for a teammate to respond. We have hundreds of requests and respond in a first-come first served basis.
Q. Why do you need my property information if the county already provides it?
A. Part of the reason we get so many requests is due to the county’s lack of information and cooperation. Sometimes the county only makes certain information available or makes it harder to get. The hardest part of my job is talking to frustrated homeowners who were let down by the county.
What to do if the seller does not want to complete the call
Submit the form with as much information as you can collect, including the number they called in from.
A. I understand if you are not ready to go over any questions at this time. Would there be a good time for one of our representatives to give you a callback?
A. When you’re ready to speak to a representative or if you would like to go over any additional information before moving forward, please feel free to email us at hampdentaxcare@gmail.com.
